DONALD GLOVER IS SPIDER-MAN AT LAST (IN DISNEY XD’S ANIMATED SPIDER-MAN SERIES)
“My name is Miles Morales, and I’m Spider-Man.” With those words, Donald Glover takes his place among the ranks of official on-screen Spider-Men.
It’s been known for a while now that Miles Morales, the Ultimate Universe version of Spider-Man, would make his screen debut in an upcoming episode of the Disney XD series Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors, but only now do we know that the part will be voiced by actor and Spidey fan Donald Glover. It’s a brilliant casting decision that we choose to interpret as the first step towards more Miles in other media, rather than an end in its own right.
who cares about what kind of person michael brown was?
i don’t care if he was an angel. it doesn’t matter. it doesn’t matter because regardless of the type of person he was, he shouldn’t have been shot 10 times at point blank range.
his right to live and not be murdered by a power tripping cop is not something that changes depending on how good and respectable he was.
One day, after getting lost and arriving 20 minutes late to my audition, I hit my breaking point. I tried with all my might to salvage the audition, but in true dramatic actor fashion, I convinced myself that this was a sign that I wasn’t meant for this industry. I considered the notion that perhaps the time had come for me to pursue a more traditional road and to satisfy the hopes that immigrant parents have for their children. Perhaps teaching or law? Something that would guarantee my bank account to return to positive territory.
